Wilton Vanilla Buttercream Frosting

Ingredients

4 servings
  • Imitation Clear Vanilla Extract1 teaspoon
  • Butter Softened1 cup
  • Sifted Confectioners' Sugar (approximately 1 Lb.)4 cups
  • Milk2 tablespoons

Method

  1. 01

    In large bowl, beat butter with electric mixer until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla.

  2. 02

    Gradually add sugar, one cup at a time, beating well on medium speed. Scrape sides and bottom of bowl often. When all sugar has been mixed in, icing will appear dry.

    Gradually add milk or water; beat at medium speed until light and fluffy.
